Dr. Mark RanschaertMark E. Ranschaert, D.M.D – Diplomate, American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

Dr. Mark E. Ranschaert, a native of Louisville, Kentucky, attended the University of Louisville where he completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. His Doctorate of Dental Medicine was earned from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 1999. Upon graduation, Dr. Ranschaert volunteered for active duty in the United State Army. During his military service, Dr. Ranschaert completed a one year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, and completed the four year surgical residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Womack Army Medical Center at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

Dr. Ranschaert was deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. During this tour of duty, he was named the Theater Consultant for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery for all of Multi-National Forces in Iraq. Dr. Ranschaert’s primary responsibility was providing surgical treatment for multiple wounds to the face and neck from explosives and gunshots.

After his return to Fort Hood, Texas, he was appointed Chief of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Service at Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center.

On November 5, 2009, Dr. Ranschaert was among the first responders to provide emergency surgical care to the critically wounded of the mass shooting at Fort Hood, Texas. He was nationally recognized by the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons for his life saving actions during this tragedy.

Dr. Ranschaert is Board Certified by the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and National Dental Board of Anesthesiology and is a Fellow in the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is also a fellow of both the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. Dr. Ranschaert is certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Basic Life Support and Adult Cardiac Life Support.

Dr. Ranschaert participates in many community outreach programs, such as, Dentistry From the Heart and We Serve. Spending quality time with his wife, Misty, and son, Rockefeller, is a very important priority in his daily life. Together, they enjoy attending Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys games. Hunting and fishing are hobbies that are enjoyed by Dr. Ranschaert.

He looks forward to the opportunity and providing the very best care in the field of oral surgery. Participation in the community and its dynamic growth are high on the Ranschaert family’s priorities.


Tara – Practice Administrator

Tara grew up in Austin, Texas, and moved to Colorado with her husband Dr. Hart to help him open his practice. Her education includes a Bachelors of Arts in English from Texas A&M University and a Masters of Business Administration from Augusta State University. While at Texas A&M, she was a member of The Corps of Cadets and The Fightin Texas Aggie Band. Her certifications include Senior Professional in Human Resources Designation(SPHR), Certified Employee Benefits Specialist(CEBS), and Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE). As the Practice Administrator, Tara enjoys seeing patients receive great quality care and having a positive experience throughout their time with CROMFS. Tara is also a Colorado-licensed surgical assistant. She is DAANCE certified which is the highest standard for anesthesia assistants and is supported by AAOMS. In her spare time, she likes to read and experience all that the Colorado outdoors has to offer. Together, Tara and Dr. Hart have two little girls, Holland and Rowan.


Ashleigh – Surgical Assistant

Ashleigh graduated from Heritage College in Denver where she was a student in the Dental Assisting program. After finishing the course, she completed an externship at Children’s Hospital Dental Clinic. Ashleigh is looking forward to providing the best possible care for each patient and learning from her fellow colleagues and Dr. Hart. She is DAANCE certified which is the highest standard for anesthesia assistants and is supported by AAOMS. In her free time Ashleigh loves to travel, go camping, snowboarding and hang out with friends and family.

 


Andrea – Surgical Assistant

Andrea is a Colorado-licensed surgical assistant. She grew up in Iowa and has lived in Colorado since 2011. She is married with 4 children: Brooklyn, William, Blake and David. With a wide medical background, she is excited to broaden her knowledge. She is DAANCE certified which is the highest standard for anesthesia assistants and is supported by AAOMS.  In her free time she likes to hike, bike ride, go to the lake and spend time with her family.

 

 


Stefanee – Surgical Assistant

Stefanee is a Colorado-licensed surgical assistant. She graduated from Academy of Dental Careers in Littleton, Colorado. She has wanted to join this field since she was 12 years old. Stefanee is always willing to learn and she’s excited to see what she can bring to the table. In her free time, she shows her horse, Cooper, and has a goal to hike every hiking spot in Colorado.

 

 


Kaitlyn – Surgical Assistant

Kaitlyn is a Colorado-licensed surgical assistant. She graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. Kaitlyn is ACLS certified and worked at an oral surgery practice in Arkansas before joining CROMFS. She enjoys hiking, skiing, snowboarding, camping, survival training, and spending time with her Wheaten Terrier Riley.

 

 


Holly – Surgical assistant

Holly graduated from the University of South Florida with a B.S. in Biomedical Sciences. Holly is from Castle Rock, Colorado, and is applying to dental school this year. She has interned with Dr. Hart for the past 3 years and is eager to continue learning while working full-time at the office. In her free time, Holly enjoys going on hikes, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.
